TRENTON, Mo. - Some area high school students have added their native plant garden.
Trenton High School students, who are also members of the school's Future Farmers of America, organized the planting in partnership with the Missouri Department of Conservation.
The students planted 125 plants, and more than 30 native species were included. The garden is made up of native wildflowers and grasses.
Native wildflowers and grasses can provide beauty and benefit pollinator insects such as butterflies.
